My school is St. Anthony’s Girls’ College in Colombo. It is a very beautiful and well-known school. I am proud to be a student of this school because it gives me many good opportunities to learn and grow. The school has a peaceful environment which helps us to study well.


In my school, we have kind and helpful teachers. They always guide us and support us in our studies as well as in other activities. They teach us not only subjects but also good values like respect, honesty, and discipline. Because of them, we become better students and better people.




My school has many facilities such as classrooms, a library, a playground, and laboratories. The classrooms are clean and comfortable. The library has many interesting books that help us to improve our knowledge. We also have a big playground where we can play sports and enjoy our time.


There are many activities in my school apart from studies. We celebrate events, participate in sports, and join clubs and societies. These activities help us to develop our talents and build confidence. I always enjoy taking part in these events with my friends.


I love my school very much because it is like my second home. I have many good memories here with my friends and teachers. I am thankful to be a student of St. Anthony’s Girls’ College, Colombo, and I will always be proud of my school.

  My Favorite Bird – Peacock My favorite bird is the Peacock . It is a very beautiful and colorful bird. I like peacocks because they are bright and look very special. Peacocks have shiny feathers with many colors like blue, green, and gold. Their long tail feathers are very pretty. When a peacock spreads its tail, it looks amazing and attracts everyone’s attention. Peacocks live in forests and gardens. They eat seeds, fruits, and insects. I like to watch them dance and make sounds. Their dance looks like they are celebrating, and it makes me happy. Peacocks are also a symbol of beauty and pride. People love them and keep them in parks and gardens. I feel lucky when I see a peacock in real life. In conclusion, the peacock is my favorite bird because it is colorful, beautiful, and graceful.
